Why is the brand called Smooth Move?
“Smooth” is a word closely related to our product, the smoothie. “Move” stands for "movement," and for us, it represents both the "shaking" of the smoothie and the concept of a "healthy movement" that we would like you to be part of.
When was the brand created?
Smooth Move began its journey in March 2024 with a lot of enthusiasm and four different smoothies. Since then, we have been continuously working on creating new smoothies for you.
Why did we decide to create Smooth Move?
We really want to have a positive impact on people's lives and health. One day, we heard that many people in Spain don't consume the five servings of fruits and vegetables per day recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) to maintain a balanced diet. We began to delve deeper into the issue and realized that the main reasons people don't consume fruits and vegetables are often related to lack of time and the inconveniences of fresh fruit... buying, cutting, peeling, preparing, organizing...
That's when we decided to take action and started creating smoothies for those who like fruits and vegetables but don't consume as much as they should. The result? Totally natural smoothies, convenient to take anywhere, and ready in less than 1 minute.
In which countries can Smooth Move be found?
Smooth Move was first launched in Spain and UK. Now, it is possible to buy Smooth Move across European countries.
What are freeze-dried smoothies?
Simply put, freeze-dried smoothies are fruits and vegetables dehydrated into powder form by removing water through a process called lyophilization. The most important aspect of this process is that, unlike other dehydration methods, it allows us to retain the fiber, vitamins, and properties of fresh fruits and vegetables.
But how does the lyophilization process actually work? Essentially, it starts with fresh produce at room temperature (20 degrees Celsius) and atmospheric pressure of 1 bar/1000 mbar. The fresh fruits and vegetables are then frozen at a temperature below -40 degrees Celsius. Next, the pressure in the chamber where the process takes place is lowered until a vacuum close to 0.01 bar is achieved. At this point, heat is applied in a slow and gentle manner, causing the temperature contrast to trigger what is known as sublimation. In other words, the water (in the form of ice) turns into vapor, separating from the product itself. The vapor is collected, and the now dehydrated fruits and vegetables turn into powder.
What are the main benefits of our smoothies?
They're bursting with flavor, completely natural, free from any additives or added sugars, and maintain all the fiber, vitamins, and properties of fresh fruit. They can be prepared in less than a minute, are portable, and can be taken anywhere. Plus, you can keep them at home for several months without any issues, as long as you store them in a cool, dry place.
But... Are these smoothies truly natural?
Yes, they are completely natural. The ingredients we use to create our smoothies are mainly freeze-dried fruits and vegetables, defatted nut butter, and some spices and superfoods such as cinnamon, turmeric, matcha, cocoa, or guaraná.
Do they keep all their properties?
Yes, the freeze-drying process helps us to maintain virtually all the vitamins, minerals, macronutrients, and fiber of fresh fruits and vegetables.
Can I replace a meal with a smoothie?
One of our smoothies provides an average of about 80-85 calories and represents a little more than two servings of fruits and vegetables that everyone should include in their diet. With this in mind, it's best to consider Smooth Move smoothies as a supplement to your diet that helps you easily incorporate more fruits and vegetables into your daily routine, rather than as a substitute for a meal.
When is the best time to have a smoothie?
You can have them at any time of the day, but most of us have them either at breakfast or as a snack.
How do I prepare them and what beverage should I mix them with?
Our smoothies are prepared in less than a minute. All you have to do is fill the bottle with your favorite plant-based milk up to the white line. Pour the contents of one of our pouches into the milk, close the bottle, shake well for 15-20 seconds, and your smoothie is ready. We love it with oat milk and a little ice, but you can have it with any other plant-based milk such as almond, walnut, hazelnut, or coconut milk. You can also prepare your smoothie with cow's milk or even with water.
How many calories does a smoothie have?
One of our smoothies provides an average of about 80-85 calories.
Where can I find the nutritional values of the smoothies?
You can find them on the product page of each smoothie, as you can see on our
Veggie Protein. You can also find them on the back of all our smoothie boxes.
What is the expiration date of our smoothies?
As they are freeze-dried, our smoothies remain in perfect condition for a long period of time (up to 18 months from production). However, they must be stored in a cool, dry place to ensure they are well preserved. Once opened and mixed with water, milk, or any other plant-based beverage such as oat milk, they should be consumed on the same day.
¿Why do some of the smoothies have lumps?
Our smoothies are 100% natural, and over time, some small lumps may form in the pouches. Simply break them up by pressing them with your fingers, and they will disappear. In case any remain, the filter in our shaker bottle will catch them, ensuring that the texture of your smoothie is always perfect.
¿Why is the color of the smoothies not the same as in the photos?
Our smoothies are 100% natural, and over time, the color of the fruits and vegetables may vary slightly. It's nothing to worry about; the smoothie still retains all its properties.
Where can I view all my orders?
Once you've logged into your account, you'll find a section called "Recent Orders" where you can see a list of the orders you've placed in the past.
How can I know if my order has been successfully placed?
Once you've placed the order, you'll receive a confirmation email with the order number and all related information.
How can I use a promotional or discount code?
If you have a promotional code from Smooth Move, you can use it just before checkout. You'll see that when confirming your order, there's a box that says "I have a discount coupon," click on it and enter your coupon code. If it's valid, the discount will be applied to the order summary. Remember that the system won't accept two different coupons in the same purchase.
Can I add additional products to an existing order?
Once the order has been placed, it's not possible to add items to an existing order. If you want to order more smoothies, simply place a new order, and we'll try to get both orders to you as soon as possible.
Can I cancel a placed order?
If you want to cancel an order you just placed, contact us as soon as possible here. We're likely already preparing your smoothies, and if we haven't shipped it, you'll be able to cancel it. If the smoothies have been shipped, you can return them within the first 30 days after placing the order, but you'll need to cover the shipping cost.
When will my order be shipped?
As a rule, we ship orders from Monday to Friday within the next 24 hours after payment.
How many days will it take to receive my order?
Most of the national shipments we make are usually delivered within 48 hours. Best-case scenario is 24 hours after leaving our warehouse. But the worst-case scenario is 5 working days.
What is the shipping cost?
For domestic shipments in Spain, shipping is free for orders over 20 euros (except for the Canary Islands, Balearic Islands, Ceuta, and Melilla). For orders under 20 euros, the shipping cost is 5 euros.
Shipments outside of Spain?
Shipments to European countries are free for orders over 60 euros. Orders under 60 euros will have a shipping charge, which you can see in the shopping cart and depends on the country where the package has to be delivered.
How can I track my shipment?
Once your package is ready for delivery, the shipping company will send you an email or SMS with the necessary information about the expected delivery day. On the delivery day, you will receive a new email or SMS indicating the delivery schedule of your order. If you require any information, you can write to us at info@secondnature.es.
How long do I have to exchange or return one of our products?
You have 14 business days from the receipt of the order to make an exchange or return. Simply contact us, explain the reason for the exchange or return, and we will assist you as soon as possible.
