EATING BETTER
The World Health Organization (WHO) and other non-profit associations like 5aldia.org tell us that fruits and vegetables are essential to maintain a balanced diet and thus prevent many health problems related to obesity, cardiovascular diseases, cancer, respiratory diseases, or diabetes.
Recent studies indicate that more than 35% of adults do not eat fruit daily, and almost 60% do not include enough vegetables in their daily lives. The data are even worse when we talk about the younger Spanish population: almost 50% do not eat enough fruit, and 70% do not eat enough vegetables.
Our goal is to actively contribute to improving these statistics so that many more people can eat a little better.
